Authors and Books for Children Day Explained

Following the success of the first ever ABC Day last summer, six popular children’s authors will be in Frome for this year’s Festival to share their books during the second children’s literature day. Local schools will be invited to bring pupils to join the authors and illustrators to enjoy the delights of their entertaining books.

ABC Day is a collaboration between Hunting Raven Bookshop and Frome Library; local schools will be contacted with ticket details soon.
The books are now available at schools, Frome Library and for sale at special prices from Hunting Raven Books.
ALL book-lovers young and not-so-young are invited to SHARE, READ and VOTE for the book they enjoyed the most.  The book with the most votes will win its author the first ever ABC Day Children’s Book Award!
Voting closes on Monday 9 July.
ABC Day 2012 authors are Tom McLaughlin, Jeremy Strong, Jason Chapman, Jeanne Willis, Daniel Blythe and Joffre White.
